It removes swirls and light scratches that sit in the clear coat. Scratches that go through the clear coat can look better but won’t disappear, and we’ll point those out before you book.
Polishing removes a very small amount of clear coat, which is why we take off only as little as needed and work just on the top layer.
The swirls we remove are gone. New ones come from washing and drying, so a SunCoat ceramic coating afterward helps the finish stay glossy longer.
